A Report on Leadership

by Ammar Naser Obaid

Defining leadership is no new concept. But even though there is heard over and over agan, there are still many avenues of leadership that should be understood and studied. That is why the art and science of leadership is a continuing and progressive domain of leadership.

A leader is the creative man who comes up with new methods; To work on improving the work or things entrusted to him and changing the course of results for the better, the successful leader is the one who shows his skills in developing and preparing the plan, and in the way it is implemented, and he is distinguished in spreading the spirit of enthusiasm and perseverance among others.

Conscience and conviction is one step ahead: any personal change starts with a feeling of need. Be it the needs of the world, personal needs or perhaps something weighing on your conscience that is not quite right. But in order to make that change, conviction is needed to take the first step.

Heard the phrase, Cleanliness is next to Godliness. That is, a leader comes 'clean'. Start by being really honest with yourself about events, motives, feelings, hopes. Some find it helpful to take time out to be quiet and listen for the direction of God, the inner voice or conscience. It can also help to share your thoughts with someone you trust in order to gain fresh perspective and support. What is it that you need to put right with others or in a specific situation?

Lastly, a leader must have to understand the difference choice and commitment. This is like choosing the matter that you need to do over what is priority. Thus, the only person who can do anything to change your life is YOU - though we all need help from outside ourselves. Good intentions are not enough, you have to choose to change and be committed to following through with what you believe you should do.And don't just work alone. Connect with others, try to build a team. If you would like to find like-minded people to work with, in order for your team building to be good.

There are many characteristics of a good leader. These are some:

1- Belief in God, the Most High, by obeying His commands and avoiding his intentions.

2- High altitude; A successful leader has clear goals that he seeks to achieve, his approach is clear, his intention is sound, and his belief is pure.

3- Avoid criticism continuously, and reduce blame. The human soul repels and turns away from those who are criticized most often, and hurts its pride.

4-Honesty in giving advice to others, and this is due to the intensity of his keenness on them and the severity of his love for them.

5- The purity and integrity of the heart from hatred, and the distance from disputes and disputes with others.

6- Patience, and this is the most important quality that a leader must have if he wants to achieve the goals he set.

7- Good listening to others, mastering the art of dialogue and persuasion.

Most importantly, there are six things that should be 'known' before doing the 'leading'. Thus,

1- Any person can become a leader, and be the reason for the change from failure to success in his life and in the lives of others, by learning the skills necessary for that, as leaders are made and not born.

2- Success and excellence in leadership cannot be achieved without helping others; others are a reason to help the leader reach success.

3- Leadership does not require promotion or high positions. Rather, a person can become a leader immediately.

4- If a person can learn the elements of the leadership battle, then he can overcome the big problems facing his life.

5- The essence of leadership is to arouse individual anxieties; to encourage them and do their best; to achieve the required goals.

6- Successful leadership does not depend on material seduction as high salaries, nor does it depend on good working conditions, but rather the extent to which the leader motivates individuals to work; to do their best.
